RAZOR RABBIT

This world is defined by a simple truth: demons must eat mortals. But the strong can defy this law, striking down those terrifying beasts. Traveling mercenary, Myrah the rabbit, is trying to get rid of three irritating baby animals that have declared her their “new mother” as they believe she’s strong enough never get eaten like their old mom was. She keeps trying to get rid of them at orphanages and temples, but the little animals have foiled her attempts to ditch them so far.

Razor Rabbit is a story taking place in a bygone era with world rules that do not entirely reflect our own. Animals that eat flesh are capable of magic as their bodies change to be more dangerous, while animals who remain mortal live in fear. That being said, some mortals are plenty strong and capable of fighting back—however, their armies need more food and to spend much longer eating than a squadron of demons does. Normally, rabbits are regarded as timid creatures who’d rather flee then fight and use their excellent hearing to keep distant from their enemies, but rumors have spread of a one-eyed rabbit who cuts down demons with little effort.

The story is somewhat intended to be commentary on narratives around gender and predators and prey in      furry art that’s entered the mainstream.   But don’t just read it as that—please enjoy the characters, world and action! Thank you for picking it up!
