Hi, I'm Didi Beetle! I'm a Kansas City Art Institute 2022 graduate with a BFA in Illustration. I have a great passion for narrative projects! I grew up in Maine, which had a huge influence on me as a creator. Vibrant colors and eccentric, flawed characters are my favorite things to depict. I'm really interested in an authorial career, drawing and writing my own stories, though I'm also happy to branch into illustrating for other writers.

My strongest skills are in character design, worldbuilding, constructive a narrative, writing and illustration--both splash illustration, and designing spreads. I use mostly Procreate on the Ipad for my digital art.

I also have some experience in 3-D modeling, making fonts, handlettering, and in the Adobe programs Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and Acrobat. I also enjoy sewing with felt and painting miniatures.
